工作描述和要求

Applications are invited for the above post in the Innovation and Product Portfolio Management Branch of the Retail Strategy, Innovation and Product Portfolio Management Department. The appointee will take up the roles and responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

Major Duties:

Act as CLP Power’s customer product center of excellence, and keep abreast on the latest innovation / sustainability megatrends relevant to CLP Power’s customer product and services portfolio
Support new product(s) and innovation initiatives surrounding emerging sustainability / energy efficiency technologies; smart meters development; and next-generation customer experience
Participate in formulating innovation and new product design concepts through interacting with customers; internal stakeholders; and other innovation / sustainability ecosystem market channels
Coordinate with other business stakeholders in the Company, conduct feasibility studies and business model development to ensure robustness of the new innovation / product design concepts
Support lifecycle of new product(s) development and innovation initiatives, from conceptualization and proof-of-concepts; to the subsequent business case approvals and roll-out project management
Maintain oversight to CLP Power’s customer product and services portfolio, regularly review and propose improvement initiatives to existing products and services to upkeep its relevance to market

Requirements:

A recognized degree in business and environmental studies, with at least 4 to 6 years relevant post-graduation work experience in a business consulting and / or new product development capacity
Knowledge in new business development and product commercialization, with some exposures in the associated processes involved (e.g. go-to-market strategy, product pricing, etc.)
Knowledge in prevailing Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) and energy transition topics, with some experience in the related solutions / products development preferred
Knowledge or experience in break-through innovation megatrends (e.g. Web 3.0), with some experience in the related solutions / products development preferred
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese

Candidate with less experience will be considered as specialist
