CLPe Solutions Limited (formerly CLP Engineering Limited), incorporated in Hong Kong in 1985, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CLP Holdings Limited with extensive experience in providing total energy solution. The company undertakes a variety of services including energy management solutions, distributed energy as well as power engineering, infrastructure and facilities management in Hong Kong and Mainland China with the focus on the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
We are looking for an energetic and dedicated candidate to join the Contracting Business Department of CLPe Solutions Limited. The appointee will be assigned to work in the Power Engineering Branch and responsible for the following duties:
- Responsible to carry out to site supervision of subcontractors, material, yearly budget and resources planning and utilization
- Assist in carrying out to manage the performance of contractors
- Assist in coordinating with Manager to plan, schedule, submission and set up proper procedures and precautions to meet the contract and company requirements and Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) standards
- Liaise with suppliers / contractors on tendering, site work coordination, claims & disputes negotiation and resolution
- Carry out 11kV plant installation, 132kV plant installation, Protection relay tests and pre-commissioning tests on plants within a tight time schedule. Devise and implement systems to manage the performance of contractors
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
- A recognized University degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years’ relevant working experience
- Sound knowledge on project management and 11kV or 132kV plant erection and testing
- Understand and familiar with CLP SHEQ requirements, CLPP 11kV or 132kV power system, Code of Practice (COP) 101 and CLP Power Supply Rules would be an added advantage
- Possession of a Construction Industry Safety Card and a valid driving license (1 and 2) would be an added advantage
- Strong supervisory, communication and leadership skills
- Customer-oriented, self-motivated, a good team player and able to work independently and under pressure
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for lower position
