Solution Evaluation – Evaluate solution options from market and propose recommendations to key stakeholders in Business and Digital teams. Coordinate and align the end-to-end solution architecture and obtain formal agreement on architecture deliverables.
Solution Design – Develop technical design of the solution with aligning to the architecture guidelines, and it will be acted as a source of guidance, quality assurance & control for the solution implementation. Plan and manage the solution roadmaps.
Facilitate Business and Digital alignment – Work closely with Business Partnering Principal Managers to support solution design of key business transformation projects. Experience in working in power generation, transmission and distribution business or experience in similar industries (such as other utilities, oil and gas, renewable energy, manufacturing, or telecommunications) would be beneficial.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (such as TOGAF) is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in utilities or digital work, preferably in solution architecture or a similar role in digital transformation. Strong understanding of business processes and system architecture principles, including solution architecture, roadmap design, development, and project management.
- Experience with cloud technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), and big data solutions.
- Capable of leading the assessment, comparison, and recommendation of solutions, architecture decisions, and vendor selection.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the digital transformation field and recommend ways to leverage them in our business.
- Strong problem-solving skills, strategic and creative thinking, committed to continuous learning, proactive, performance-driven, and results-oriented.
- Knowledge of IT applications for utilities or energy industry (digital field service management, plant operation & maintenance, operation and occupational safety, etc.) is a plus.
