We are looking for high caliber professional to join Financial Control (Hong Kong) Department of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited. The successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist to formulate and realize the business strategies and goals in meeting operational and financial targets and business objectives
- Timely compile the operating / capital expenditure budgets and ensure that they are financially justified for management approval, and are subsequently monitored effectively with forecast updated periodically
- Produce management & financial information with both quantitative and qualitative assessments for monitoring achievement of business goals and targets and for management's decision support
- Ensure effective management control procedures in compliance with Company Policy are in place
- Deliver professional financial advice and support to internal customers in relation to financial or control related matters
- Identify and participate in the continuous improvement of procedures and systems to improve operational efficiency and participate in other ad hoc assignments to cope with business needs
Requirements
- An accredited University Degree in Accounting and Finance; and professional qualification of a recognised accountancy body;
- At least 5 years’ relevant working experience; Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Financial Analyst;
- Proven interpersonal skills and capability to communicate effectively at all levels in both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Strong analytical mind and problem solving abilities with good business acumen;
- Creative, independent, self-motivated and a strong sense of responsibility; and
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint; and
- Familiar with SAP/Oracle would be highly desirable.
