Role Overview:
The Business Transformation Department is seeking an experienced business architect to deliver significant strategic initiatives for CLP. The business architect will support the business and process owner to develop and maintain the CLP enterprise strategy and process model that supports new ways of working and technology innovation aligned to CLPs future ambition
Responsibilities:
· Develop a business architecture strategy based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios and motivations.
· Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise.
· Capture the tactical and strategic enterprise goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.
· Drives and facilitates the right discussions with business leaders to identify business capabilities in relation to current and future business objectives
· Capture the relationships among roles, capabilities and business units, the decomposition of those business units into subunits, and the internal or external management of those units.
· Support the development of strategic CLP enterprise business process framework model
· Support design authority to assess the impact to business and make key design decision
· Develop business strategy review and design methods, standards and toolsets to deliver world class strategy excellence design approach
· Support CLP Process Owner and other stakeholders in world class design thinking and methods
Requirements:
· 12-15 years experience in strategy and business process design or similar field
· A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
· Experience in developing enterprise business model and process design, architecture and mapping
· Deep understanding of process design methods and integrated design toolsets
· Experience in management consulting, coupled with operational excellence and transformation will be highly regarded.
· Customer and Quality orientation
· Critical thinking skills and ability to synthesise a variety of information into a cohesive business models
· Exceptional communication and engagement skills
