工作描述和要求

We are looking for a high caliber professional to join the Lands & Buildings Branch. Reporting to Senior Manager - Lands & Buildings (Transmission & Distribution), the appointee will be responsible for following duties:

Handle private treaty grant, short term tenancy or license applications to Government for utility installation projects
Handle Government approvals for Master Layout Plan amendments, planning application, lease modification, lot extension, waiver, land exchange, and certificate of compliance etc.
Monitor the facilities under operation with routine site inspection to ensure that all lease and statutory requirements under related Ordinances are fully complied with
Provide expert advice on land and town planning matters and liaise with Government and/or private sector on land/property acquisition, land resumption, and tenancy / licence related issues etc.
Evaluate development opportunities for existing properties to meet the development need of the Company
Manage internal/external stakeholders to facilitate project implementation
Handle any other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

A recognized University degree in Land Administration/Estate Management/Land Management/ Surveying or equivalent
Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, 2 years of which must be in valuation/land administration
Experience in land administration in N.T. and knowledge of government policies and procedures related to land administration would be an advantage
Knowledge of valuation methods and Government policies related to valuation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and sense of responsibility
Being customer-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
Good communication skills, including both spoken and written English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, and database management system
A valid Hong Kong Driving License would be an advantage

Candidate without the required academic qualification, or experience but has demonstrated good potential for further development will be considered for the post of Specialist – Lands & Buildings.
