Reporting to the Associate Director - Supply Chain Excellence & Sustainability, we are looking for a passionate and high calibre professional to join the Commercial & Supply Chain Management team in Projects & Operations, CLP Holdings.

The Senior Manager - Supply Chain Sustainability is responsible to support the continuous development and improvement of procurement & supply chain management (PSCM) sustainability practice across the CLP businesses. The role spans all Greater China businesses (i.e. CLP Power, CLP China, CLPe Solutions) and projects (including mega-projects) and the EnergyAustralia and Apraava businesses.

Major Duties:

• Input to develop and recommend a vison as a rolling multi-year plan for the continuous improvement of PSCM sustainability to a world class capability.

• Support the development of a PSCM sustainability practice; through working in close collaboration with the Group Sustainability team, including for PSCM sustainability reporting.

• Implement the rolling multi-year PSCM plan; working with the businesses to assess their current practice and to develop plans to close identified gaps and for improvement.

• Assist in developing systems for knowledge management, analysis and dissemination to support the continuous development of practice and strategy. This includes standards and processes; and training, guidelines, tools, techniques, templates and methods

• Assist to develop and implement supplier PSCM sustainability improvement programmes

• Profiling active suppliers to CLP’s responsible procurement practices and preparing insights and risk assessment reports to CLP senior management.

• Prepare PSCM sustainability submissions for corporate reports.

• Support expert advice on PSCM sustainability, including responses to PSCM sustainability queries from internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• A recognized university degree in engineering or equivalent.

• At least 4 years of managerial experience in sustainability practitioner roles, with increasing levels of seniority and management responsibility.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience and working knowledge of current and emerging leading practices & capabilities.

• It is highly desirable to have experience in multi-cultural and distributed organisations, multiple industry experience and in a consulting organisation.

• Team-orientated and results-driven and able to build collaborative working relationships.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

• Fluency in English required, knowledge of Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage.

• Willingness to travel overseas as necessary.
