CLP has embarked on a journey to becoming a “Utility of the Future” which is customer-centric, agile and digitally-enabled. The company is launching strategic transformation initiatives across the business in which next generation technologies will play a pivotal role.

We are looking for passionate IT professionals to join the project teams. The successful applicant will be

responsible for below technical stream:

• Geographic Information System (GIS)*

CLP leverages Geographic Information System (GIS) to manage and map the location of millions of miles of overhead and underground circuits. It provides a map-centric, intuitive way to model, design, maintain and manage facility and land-based information.

Reporting to IT Associate Manager, the appointee will undertake the following major duties:

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out project implementations for enterprise IT applications related to power engineering. These application systems include, but not limited to, GIS, data modelling, data migration, data analytics, system platform, enterprise integration etc. Specifically, the following major streams are preferred:
Application - Geographic Information System (GIS); possess GIS knowledge on Intergraph, ESRI technologies including but not limited to GIS desktop or web technologies
Data – possess data manipulation knowledge on data modelling, data ETL, data migration, data analytics etc.

Requirements:

A recognised university degree in Geoinformatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
3 – 5 years relevant working experience in one or more of the following duty areas:
Experience in project and vendor management
Experience in below technology and/or systems are perferred:
Some experience in documentation, system analysis and design, system/data acceptance, user training

o Developing or supporting systems relate to AM/FM, GIS with hands-on software manipulation skill such as ESRI ArcGIS Pro, SE ArcFM Designer XI, etc.

o ESRI Utility Network model development using programming languages such as Python, Javascript etc.

o ETL and reporting tools such as FME, Toad, Oracle SQL-Plus, MS-SQL Management Studio, ArcGIS Data Interoperability, PowerBI, SSIS etc.

o Using T-SQL /PL SQL queries against Oracle, Azure and on-premise SQL Database
