Key responsibilities:
- Partner with Finance, Business and Digital team to consolidate and synthesize the Overall Digital budget across all funding entities with additional details on Digital Funded.
- Understand the portfolio of work and encourage link to value
- Review opportunities to further streamline and manage Digital Costs
- Continue to support strategic programs like ZBB and other cost optimization exercise.
- Deliver the planning and monitoring process framework for digital budget and spend
- Deliver the digital budget on time for each budgeting cycle and provide full visibility from different perspectives. Spend visibility – budgeted vs. forecast vs actual – formulae a robust way of cost tracking mechanism
- Derive and communicate the standardized and common view on budget and spend (e.g. per system per program cost) so as to support and facilitate each budget owners to manage their own spend efficiently
- Efficiently and effectively monitor and manage the digital spend portfolio to ensure spend is justifiable with benefits as well as cost optimised (e.g software license cost)
- People Manager role to manage team tracks and optimize costs (Software subscription, Cloud hosting) and implements cost management framework.
- Manage senior stakeholders on the provision of overall digital budget and spend portfolio
- University degree or above in Business, Commercial or Technology. Master’s degree is desirable.
- At least 7-9 years of experience in Digital or IT commercial, strategy and planning with 3 years in management level
- Commercial business focus and business acumen
- Outstanding financial analysis skills
- Performance driven, results orientated, and customer-focused
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and influencing skills
- Experience in managing cost and budget planning
- Strong analytical skill with commercial sense
- People management & Stakeholder coordination
- Leadership engagement
- Exposure on managing senior management and executive, conducting executive presentations
