Applications are invited for the above vacancy in Logistics & Transport Branch of Finance & Business Support Department. Reporting to the Senior Specialist – HSEQ & Administration, the appointee is required to:
Major Duties:
- Assist to implement Company HSSEQ plan and monitor necessary processes, systems, procedures, codes of practice, guidelines, standards, and rules, under the framework of Safety Management System
- Assist to develop and maintain necessary HSSEQ systems, rules, standards, procedures, and guidelines in full compliance with the Company management framework
- Support Centre of Excellence (CoE) of Traffic Safety to handle traffic-related issues including traffic offences, complaints, incidents, enquiries etc.
- Conduct investigation on HSSEQ incidents (e.g. traffic incidents) to identify the root causes, and provide improvement recommendations to prevent recurrence
- Organize HSSEQ and wellbeing related promotion and communication campaigns to enhance staff awareness and competency
- Conduct worksite hazard assessment and ergonomics survey, and co-ordinate the implementation of corrective actions to prevent and control the identified hazards
- Coordinate, compile and maintain up-to-date data, documentation, records, including traffic safety-related statistics and reports
- Provide HSSEQ advice to line management on various operations / activities in the Department
- Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 subjects passed in HKCEE/HKDSE, including English Language (Syllabus B) or equivalent
- A recognized Certificate / Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Management Studies or related discipline
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience. Preference will be given to those with experience in logistics / vehicles maintenance industry
- Good knowledge in local safety and health regulations and ordinance
- Good understanding of road traffic ordinance would be an advantage
- Be mindful and has good safety awareness
- Strong sense of responsibility with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English
- Possession of a valid driving license (class 1 and 2)
Candidate who has shown good potential for further development but with less qualification and/or experience will be considered for a position at lower grade.
