工作描述和要求

Applications are invited for the above vacancy in the Business Improvement Branch of Asset Management Department. Reporting to the Manager – Business Process, the appointee will undertake a range of duties including the identification of opportunities for business process improvement, development and delivery of training, and project management as required for the implementation of information system projects.

Specific duties include :-

Coordinate for Project Pipeline Governance process and assist in formulating IT development strategies and investment plans in Power Systems Business Group
Communicate among IT developers and key stakeholders so as to confirm the system requirements, specification and/or design features of the system
Review the relevant business processes and management practices; identify gaps from world best practices and devise improvement plans to this effect
Manage to deliver process automation project activities, IT support optimization initiatives and monitor the progress throughout the development stage
Organize user acceptance test, deliver training for end-users and set up system supporting model to ensure a smooth process for production run
Perform duties under adverse weather condition, outside normal working hours, and carry out other duties assigned by supervisor as and when required

Requirements :-

A recognized university degree in engineering, IT, business analysis, data science or relevant discipline OR
A recognized university degree plus a postgraduate/professional diploma or certificate in engineering, IT, business analysis, data science or relevant discipline
A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in system project planning, requirement analysis, design, development, integration and support of information systems or business processes
Project experience in document and web portal management in Microsoft SharePoint Online or process automation in Microsoft Power Platform are preferable
Familiarity with engineering standards and practices, and management systems would be an advantage
Mindful with good safety awareness
Customer-oriented, self-motivated, good team player, analytical and able to work under pressure and tight schedule
Strong sense of responsibility with good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English

Candidates with less qualification and/or experience can be considered for offer as Assistant Engineer.
