Senior Manager – Contract Management Lead (2-Year Contract)

Key responsibilities:
· Category Management: Develop and implement Business Plans and project-specific procurement contracting strategies which maximize value and benefits delivered to the business.
· Sourcing & Contracting: Lead planning and execution of market engagements including supplier proposal evaluations, commercial & contract negotiations, award recommendations and post-award commercial/claims & contract management.
· Supplier Management: Lead and coordinate Supplier Relationship & Performance Management (SRM) processes with awarded suppliers and periodical senior management reviewsProcurement Leadership: Plan, design and lead procurement delivery engagements with internal Business stakeholders and external suppliers across each of the key stages of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle (Source-to-Pay).
· Category Expertise: Provide category domain knowledge and leading practice expertise in relevant categories, including : IT consultancy, IT hardware & software, ERP and/or Business Group-specific applications & systems, application development, PC/notebook/tablet, IT training, web system design & maintenance, web hosting services, mobile applications, cloud services, telecom system infrastructure, microwave system, mobile & fixed network communication services and new emerging technologies.
· Innovation and Partnership: Develop senior-level relationships with key influencers and/or decision- makers, develop long-term partnerships and drive innovation to realize continuous improvement opportunities.
· Governance: Ensure user compliance with end-to-end procurement policies, processes and procedures whilst driving commercial effectiveness and strong business ethics.
· Business Transformation: Support CLP’s business transformation program and lead the sourcing and commercial/contractual negotiation with next generation technology platform providers supporting each of CLP’s core business functions (i.e. Finance, Procurement, Asset Management, HR, Customer and IT).
· Act as the single point of accountability for services relates to contracts of service or product providers
· Establish, maintain and enhance vendor relationships to build business requirements and ensure align with business and Group IT strategies
· Review and manage contractual obligations and provide continual review internally and externally with supplier to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
· Monitor supplier performance and ensure it work smoothly with system integrator, maintain good communication with suppliers and system integrators on contract terms and manage dispute
· Evaluate and validate vendor performance through establishing metrics scorecards and conducting surveys to manage vendor service level agreements across different aspects
· Manage and fulfill the procurement demand for project and operations to ensure smooth and cost-effective project deployment and operation excellence
· Understand the product Bill of Material and able to negotiate the price and terms with the supplier to maximise the benefit and contractual protection
· Provide commercial analysis, financial planning and control, and reporting of all project commercial activities
· Track and manage variations, facilitating discussion on additional funding required
· Ensure commercial risks are identified and managed across the project scopes of work by controlling the overall project risk and opportunity review and reporting process
Requirements:
· 10+ years’ professional experience within a Commercial and/or Contract orientated role in large technology commercial/contract management
· Strong knowledge of contracts and standard contracting terms for supply of digital/technology services
· Membership and/or qualification from a procurement professional body (e.g. CIPS, ISM, etc.) preferred.
· Demonstrated knowledge of procurement leading practices applied across diverse categories and organisations.
· First-hand experience leading sourcing and contract negotiations on large, complex, multi-year deals with established and emerging global IT providers (including software, infrastructure, services, consultants and system integrators). Familiar with new emerging IT service offerings, business models and commercial contract forms (in particular Cloud-based services and subscription models).
· Agile, customer-centric and innovative in determining fit-for-purpose market engagement strategies which maximize value delivered, whilst ensuring robustness procurement governance and decision-making process.
· Change advocate with strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Strong cross-cultural awareness, adaptability and agility.
