Key Responsibilities:
- Ideation – Translate business and functional requirements into the solution architecture with working closely with Business and Digital teams. Conduct solution fit-for-purpose and market trends analysis to plan for future solution/ capability adoption.
- Solution Evaluation – Evaluate solution options from market and propose recommendations to key stakeholders in Business and Digital teams. Coordinate and align the end-to-end solution architecture and obtain formal agreement on architecture deliverables.
- Solution Design – Develop technical design of the solution with aligning to the architecture guidelines, and it will be acted as a source of guidance, quality assurance & control for the solution implementation. Plan and manage the solution roadmaps.
- Facilitate Business and Digital alignment – Work closely with Business Partnering Principal Managers to support solution design of key business transformation projects such as Customer Experience (CX) transformation. Experience in working in Customer facing & experience technologies would be beneficial.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines / Master’s degree in a related field is desirable.
- With 6+ years of utilities industry or Digital work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments.
- Have solid solution architecture design experiences including integration architecture, API design, event-driven architecture, microservice design, Kubernetes & containers application, etc. Practical experiences in architecting an enterprise grade solution across domains is needed.
- Experience in architecture roadmap design, application development and project management are needed.
- Professional credentials in TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, COBIT, ScrumMaster, DevOps, or relevant disciplines preferred. Solution architecture certification(s) in one (or more) cloud solution(s), where applicable.
- Good at problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and influencing skills. Good at facilitation, vendor management, project management, change and relationship management
- Demonstrable commitment to continuous learning
- Proactive, performance driven, and results oriented.
