We are looking for high calibre professional to join Finance & Administration team in our China Business Unit (i.e., CLP China). Job scope of this position covers financial accounting, management reporting, budgetary control, system/process improvement and asset restructuring.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports including period end closing, statutory accounts and report package. Draft management reports for CLP China’s business.
- Responsible for finance system maintenance, including SAP structure changes, create and divest companies, finance system upgrade and migration.
- Prepare and support business planning, financial performance & analysis reports, budgetary control reports, internal control reports and financial models for CLP China.
- Liaise with relevant functions in CLP Group for financial transactions and reporting requirements related to CLP China.
- Work with assets leaders and finance managers of Finance team of CLP China on tax and accounting issues.
- Work with group functions such as tax, legal, HR, company secretary and other corporate units to assist evaluating different business / financial / holding structure / staff secondment decision / internal recharging related to the CLP China’s business.
- Support works such as accounting due diligence of potential projects and preparation of asset restructuring, as required.
Requirements
- A recognized university degree or above in accounting, finance, or business and professional qualification of a recognized accountancy body.
- Audit or advisory services experience in Big4 CPA firms preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years financial management, financial accounting experiences gained in accounting firms or commercial companies.
- Strong business acumen with knowledge of businesses and/or political environment in China highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- A good team leader, proactive, independent, fast learner and able to work under pressure.
- Effective communication (speaking and writing) in English, Putonghua and Cantonese.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
