CLPe Solutions Limited (formerly CLP Engineering Limited), incorporated in Hong Kong in 1985, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CLP Holdings Limited with extensive experience in providing total energy solution. The company undertakes a variety of services including energy management solutions, distributed energy as well as power engineering, infrastructure and facilities management in Hong Kong and Mainland China with the focus on the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

We are looking for a high caliber professional to join our Finance and Risk Management Department as an Assistant Manager - Business Analysis. Key responsibilities include:

Develop and run financial and commercial spreadsheet models independently to evaluate opportunities for solar projects & new business lines or related initiatives
Work closely with Project or Business-line teams on commercial proposal development; assist on financial analysis and commercial proposal review
Interact with other teams within CLP Group to support the review, governance and execution of these projects and initiatives
Provide quantitative and analytical support including preparation of business plans for the company
Support financial review of commercial terms for any project, contracting bids and investment projects and assist with the documentation as required
Support preparation of proposals and presentations for internal management and Board approvals
Support IC review process and cross-functional review within CLP Group
Support the Manager - Financial analysis and BD managers in sensitivity analysis or running standard models on distributed energy models

Requirements:

A recognized University degree in Business, Finance or relevant disciplines
A minimum of 8 years’ relevant working experience. Good understanding of the power or energy industry, renewables or infrastructure projects; any tendering experience with infrastructure projects or contracting will be an advantage
Self-motivated, able to thrive in a cross-functional team environment and able to work independently
Sense of prioritization when dealing with multiple assignments
Lateral thinking with a flair for problem solving, strong commercial acumen and strategic sense; Strong business modelling and analytical skills, with ability to build up excel financial models from scratch
Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficient in Putonghua will be an advantage
Frequent travel to PRC as required
Candidates with less experience will be considered for lower position
