Description & Requirements
- Plan and implement media communications strategy and publicity plan to promote corporate image
- Provide advice and support to business lines and functions on external communication matters, including media communications, and crisis and issues management
- Monitor and analyse media and stakeholders sentiment and develop relevant communication plan and strategy
- Handle media enquiries, develop and maintain good relationship with the media
- Handle collateral and video production, prepare presentation materials, write speeches and press releases, etc.
- Assist and perform other corporate affairs duties as required
- A recognised university degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or other related disciplines
- At least 6 years’ relevant experience in public affairs, corporate communications or media relations. Experience in journalistic field is a plus
- Acute sensitivity in current affairs and political landscape, and versatile in issues management and media publicity
- Able to deal with a diverse group of stakeholders to achieve the business objectives
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- A good team player who is proactive, result-oriented, able to work independently and under pressure to deal with multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with creative personality
- Willing to work irregular hours and outside office hours
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for lower grade
