Responsibilities:
- Understand Record to Report functionalities and capabilities in new ERP solution. Provide insight on best practice on financial closure and reporting process, including but not limited to AP/AR/GL/Consolidation, etc.
- Understand the current Record to Report processes and pain points of CLP, work closely with relevant stakeholders to define related business requirements and provide solutions to align different requirements
- Report to Finance Functional Stream Lead and work closely with Process Owners to discuss the process design, seek process design decisions and escalate blockers where required
- Work closely with Technical team and the system integrator (SI) to support definition of a single, comprehensive solution that delivers to-be process and satisfies business requirements
- Evaluate business processes and operations, and work closely with various stakeholders to provide input on to-be processes and cross-functional requirements of ERP
- Support process mapping and design, to-be processes testing, user and process manuals & training materials development, change management and other activities where required for the success of new ERP solution delivery to Finance and the broader strategic objectives for the Company
Requirements:
- A recognized university degree in Accounting or Finance
- Qualified accountant with HKICPA or other recognized professional accounting bodies
- A minimum of 7 years’ professional & solid experience and knowledge in financial closure and reporting process
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration in complex programme structures with multiple workstreams and third-party suppliers
- Experience in managing business stakeholders and owners through complicated ERP change and transformation is preferred
- Agile ways of working experience is beneficial
Technical / Functional Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business acumen
- Innovative, independent, self-motivated and have strong sense of responsibility
- Assertive with outstanding influencing and communication skills
- Experience in ERP / EPM with Oracle or similar system in the field of financial modules
- Experience in utility and related industry is a plus
