We are looking for passionate IT professionals to join the project teams. The successful applicant will be
responsible for below technical stream:
•Geographic Information System (GIS)*
*CLP leverages Geographic Information System (GIS) to manage and map the location of millions of miles of overhead and underground circuits. It provides a map-centric, intuitive way to model, design, maintain and manage facility and land-based information.
Reporting to IT Associate Manager, the appointee will undertake the following major duties:
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out project implementations for enterprise IT applications related to power engineering. These application systems include, but not limited to, GIS, data modelling, data migration, data analytics, system platform, enterprise integration etc. Specifically, the following major streams are preferred:
• Data – Possess data manipulation knowledge on data modelling, data ETL, data migration, data analytics etc. Assist on the data analysis and migration process throughout the project.
Requirements:
• A recognised university degree in Geoinformatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• 3 – 5 years relevant working experience in one or more of the following duty areas:
§ Experience in IT project and vendor management
§ Experience in using queries/executions/jobs against Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Database
§ Experience in ETL and reporting tools such as FME, Toad, Oracle SQL-Plus, MS-SQL Management Studio, ArcGIS Data Interoperability, PowerBI, SSIS etc.
§ Experience in ESRI Utility Network (UN) network model, data migration activities and data cleansing activities
§ Experience in using programming languages such as .NET Framework, Python.
• Some experience in documentation, system analysis and design, system/data acceptance, user training
