Description & Requirements
In support of the Company’s future business needs, we are looking for a high caliber communication professional to join the Corporate Affairs (Communications) Department of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited. Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Manager, the successful candidate is responsible for executing plans and programmes to support CLP’s reputation management and financial communications. Duties include:
- Assist in drafting and producing financial reports and Group-level publication materials
- Assist in internal and external communication initiatives relating to Group functions such as sustainability and financial announcements
- Assist in media relations and executive speaking activities
- Liaise and coordinate with relevant in-house departments and external vendors on various projects
- Assist in events, cross-team projects and other corporate affairs activities in Asia Pacific markets as required
- Provide general administrative support to the team and assist managing junior team members
Requirements:
- Degree holder, preferably in communications, journalism or related disciplines
- A minimum of 5 years’ working experience, preferably in journalism or communications with solid understanding of media and stakeholder communication
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese with proven writing experience
- Proactive, well-organised, detail-minded, independent, responsive, a fast learner with multi-tasking ability
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Chinese and English) including PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience in digital/social media communications, and knowledge of design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and video editing software preferred but not a must
- Knowledge of the financial markets will be an advantage but not a must
- Willing to work overtime and on weekends, if deemed necessary
