Description & Requirements
We are looking for a high caliber and result-oriented candidate to join the Meter to Cash Branch in the Customer Operations Department under the Customer Success and Experience Business Group (CSE).
Under the Utility of the Future vision, the Meter to Cash Branch aims to unlock the possibilities and benefits of smart metering technologies and enable new ways of working by transforming the Meter to Cash end-to-end processes (including electricity account creation, field services, meter reading, billing and payment, revenue collection, etc.).
Reporting to the Manager – Meter to Cash, the appointee will be part of a collaborative team in designing the future end state, driving business process improvement initiatives, establishing cross-functional performance metrics, and supporting the development of new customer service offering. The appointee will have the opportunity to gain a broad exposure of CLP business and technical functions and make an immediate impact.
Key responsibilities:
· Identify, prioritize, and drive operational reviews and process improvement initiatives across business functions;
· Work with stakeholders to identify pain points of the meter to cash processes, co-create the future end state, design the implementation roadmap and business case;
· Co-ordinate and track progress of different initiatives to ensure their timely delivery with the agreed budget and quality standards;
· Conduct market research into the latest global practices and assess their applicability to CLP;
· Collaborate with business users to develop and maintain operational dashboards to monitor performance and KPIs;
· Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisors.
Requirements:
· A recognized university degree, preferably in Engineering, Business, Science or related disciplines;
· At least 3 years of work experience in business process improvement, operational improvement, or meter to cash related job duties
· Experience in utilities or other asset-dominated industry would be an added advantage;
· Knowledge in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, ORACLE) would be highly regarded;
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a can-do attitude;
· Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills;
· Passionate, creative and organized team player with a strong customer-centric mindset and data driven;
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work with a high level of integrity;
· Good command of both written and spoken Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin) and English;
· Knowledge of design thinking, dashboard design, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools or ERP implementation is desirable but not a must.
Candidates with lower academic background or less experience will be considered for a post at a lower rank.
