Key responsibilities:
- Leading subject matter experts (SMEs) to articulate as-is processes, design the to-be processes, define related business requirements and provide input to cross-functional requirements
- Working closely with Digital and the SI to support definition of a single, comprehensive solution that delivers to-be process and satisfies business requirements
- Working closely with functional stream lead and process owners to discuss the process design, seek process design decisions and escalate blockers where required
- Leading the SMEs to test the to-be processes, develop user manuals, provide input to training material and support change management where required to deploy the new ERP solution
- Being accountable for business requirement identifications, process design and testing for the assigned area(s)
Requirements:
- University degree in Business, Procurement and Supply Chain, Information Technology or other relevant discipline
- Membership and/or qualification from a procurement professional body (e.g. CIPS, ISM, etc.) and/or engineering body (e.g. HKIE, IET, etc.) is preferred
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain and inventory management/warehousing roles with relevant category expertise and increasing level of responsibility
- Skills in material flow management, dangerous goods management, material disposal management, bin location management, warehouse capacity planning, warehouse process & governance, warehouse operation performance management and stock/cycle counting management
- Experience in leading a group of SMEs in business process design and testing
- Worked collaboratively in complex program structures with multiple project workstreams and third-party suppliers
- Experience in managing business stakeholders and owners through complicated ERP change and transformation is preferred
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration in complex programme structures with multiple workstreams and third-party suppliers
- Agile ways of working experience are beneficial
Technical / Functional Competencies:
- Strong professional track records or deep technical skills relating to procurement and inventory management leading practices applied across diverse categories and organisations is required
- Exceptional leadership and mentorship abilities to introduce and implement technical solutions
- Strong orchestration and organisation skills
- Assertive with outstanding influencing and communication skills
- Systematically manages plans, deliverables and risks
- Understanding in ERP systems is beneficial
