The Commercial and Supply Chain Management (C&SCM) under CLP Power Hong Kong Limited oversees the operating company’s circa HKD 20 billion annual expenditure with 1,200 suppliers across 50 categories of spend.
C&SCM is responsible for end-to-end procurement and supply chain management across key spend categories and business stakeholders.
The C&SCM organisation is structured by Category Groups (CG) which are combinations of categories and sub-categories of spend in key supply markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager – Commercial and Supply Chain Management (C&SCM) - Customer and Corporate Services, the position will be responsible for:
- Provide domain knowledge and leading practice expertise in under the Customer & Corporate Services team, including but not limited to:- Finance, Insurance, Legal and Accounting Professional Service
- Human Resources
- Management Consulting
- Training
- Travel & Catering - Demand Management. Establish a strong business partnering relationship with Business stakeholders across procurement delivery engagements to achieve set targets and business objectives.
- Category Management. Provide input to the long-term Category Business Plans and project-specific procurement contracting strategies, including data extraction and analysis.
- Sourcing & Contract Management. Execute end-to-end sourcing activities, including market engagements, supplier proposal evaluations, commercial & contract negotiations, award recommendations, and post-award contract management.
- Procure to Pay. Provide support and input of data/system administration related to PR/PO processing, GR/invoice processing, OA management, Master data management, etc.
- Supplier Management. Support new supplier development, supplier onboarding, supplier helpdesk, supplier performance and relationship management, risk profile review, etc.
- Risk Management. Support the development and implementation of effective supply chain strategies to manage CLP’s business and operations risk exposure with key suppliers.
- Innovation and Partnership. Support the development of long-term partnerships with strategic suppliers and drive innovation to realize continuous improvement opportunities.
- Governance. Ensure compliance with contracts, procurement policies, processes and procedures whilst driving commercial effectiveness and strong business ethics.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business, Procurement and Supply Chain, or other relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience.
- Membership and/or qualification from a procurement professional body (e.g. CIPS, ISM or equivalent) an advantage.
- Change advocate with strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong cross-cultural awareness, dynamism, adaptability and agility.
- Fluency in English required, fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin a distinct advantage.
