We are looking for a high caliber Data Services professional to join our Data Office team under CLP Digital. The incumbent will drive the development and maintenance of the data products roadmap across CLP, with key responsibilities and requirements summarized as follows:
The Position Profile:
- Responsible for maintaining the overall data roadmap, including design and requirements development for new data products and integrations
- Accountable for the coordination and collaboration with businesses and functions to shape the data and analytics use cases (incl. scope, size, resources, etc.)
- Responsible for the formulation of the vision, strategies and roadmap for building strategic and business critical data and analytics capabilities across the data and analytics portfolio at CLP
- Responsible for socialising and aligning the data and analytics portfolio to strategic priorities, business dependencies, and operational needs
- Responsible for the initiation and leading of discovery work around a minimum viable product (MVP) for any new data intelligence product. It includes collaborating with Data Services team, Big Data team (technical teams) to prototype and validate an MVP
- Manage and scope the data use cases prioritisation and trade-offs among conflicting business priorities for data
- Maintain up-to-date and highly relevant energy industry trends for improvement on and incorporation into the data and analytics products within CLP
- Responsible for driving sustainable improvements through leading data management and analytics technology and process optimisation practices
- Empower teams across the business to use BI environment to get the most of performance reviews and business insights
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, working with data and analytics and/or other business intelligence products, such as Power BI and Tableau
- Experience in a supervisory role and demonstrated effective leadership across the ranks
- Experience in IT Project / Program Management, IT Service Management, Agile Delivery Methods
- Experience in working on big data / AI / data science is preferable
- Experience in the energy sector or other asset-intensive industries will be highly regarded
- Knowledge and work experience with MS SQL and cloud technology platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and AWS
- Technically competent to influence and understand the data solution context, approach and lifecycle
- Ability to conceptualise complex technical ideas, and articulate and socialise among senior stakeholders in business context
- Ability to handle complex multiple assignments at the same time and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent stakeholder management to ensure smooth delivery of data and analytics solutions/products
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills, verbal and written
