In 2019, CLP launched Smart Energy Connect (SEC) clpsec.com. This platform offers businesses and organisations access to a diverse selection of smart energy management applications developed by CLP and its product partners, including energy analytics and forecasting, performance monitoring of distributed energy systems, equipment fault diagnostics, etc. SEC represents a new business model for customers, system integrators, and service providers to deploy innovative technologies to make their sustainability goals a practical reality.
We are looking for a high caliber individual who is dynamic, analytical, and self-motivated to be a part of the Digital Services team responsible for product management and commercial opportunities in established focus areas to drive growth and enable our digital utility of the future vision.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in emerging markets and companies, technology and engage in business, client, or partner development in an emerging technology industry. He/she shall be working closely with product teams, project teams and operational teams, partners, and potential clients to support our journey to build a more comprehensive product portfolio in energy orchestration, sustainability, and related areas.

The Position Profile:
- A highly collaborative role, the candidate will drive success working and engaging with others with the organisation which maybe through influence rather than authority
- Support business product managers who are subject matter experts in different domains to execute product vision, product viability and strategies that range from energy storage, energy orchestration, data, and areas
- Work closely with internal business units, product delivery teams to manage pipeline of development, launch and growth activities
- As a key member to manage operation and sales enquiries on Carbon Credits and Sustainability product categories:
- Be abreast on identifying supply-side partners and update on new offers and trends
- Handling of sales logistics with oversea carbon credit supplier partner
- Manages our carbon credit offers for business clients
- Build and manage customer relationship and assist companies to achieve sustainability target
- Research and analysis on carbon market and other topics assigned
- Ensure that all deliverables are progressing based on its relevant lifecycle and to the planned timeline, budget and quality
- Program/project management skills and the ability to adhere to goals to get desired results
Requirements:
- A recognised university degree in environmental engineering, science, business administration or related field
- Relevant working experience in Sustainability, ESG or related consulting, product management, business analysis.
- Knowledge in regulated, voluntary carbon markets, climate change policy, ESG reporting, SBTi, is a plus
- At least 5 years of work-experience in business or product management
- Exceptional customer research and listening skills
- Experience in people management, negotiation, vendor management
- Critical thinking, including go to market plans, sales plans
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in fluent English, plus capability in both spoken and written Chinese (Putonghua and simplified Chinese) is preferable.
- Fast learners and can tackle problems creatively and independently.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently to perform in a dynamic, multi-cultural, matrix organisation and influence outcomes.
