In 2019, CLP launched Smart Energy Connect (SEC) clpsec.com. This platform offers businesses and organisations access to a diverse selection of smart energy management applications developed by CLP and its product partners, including energy analytics and forecasting, performance monitoring of distributed energy systems, equipment fault diagnostics, etc. SEC represents a new business model for customers, system integrators, and service providers to deploy innovative technologies to make their sustainability goals a practical reality.

We are looking for an Electric Vehicle (EV) Product Owner to join the Digital Services team for guiding the success of the EV charging service and coordinating a cross-functional team responsible for its design, development and deployment, with key responsibilities and requirements summarized as follows:

The Position Profile:

Own the EV charging services system requirements, roadmap, milestones, performance measures, and priorities to ensure we are building the right EV infrastructure and solutions
Source and lead the technical evaluation of key technologies to deliver the proof of concept and lay the groundwork for large scale deployment of EV charging services
Focus on solid, rapid execution, guiding critical trade-offs in product requirements in order to ensure product market fit
Build use cases, business process flow charts and conduct ongoing user acceptance testing, product quality sign-off, and product documentation
Leverage data to understand user behaviours continuously and suggest product and design improvements
Have your finger on the pulse of emerging EV charging technologies, and assess their relevance to CLP and EV stakeholders

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, engineering or related discipline
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience as Product Owner
Experience in the transportation or logistics industry, with particular focus on electric vehicle infrastructure is highly desirable
Possess deep knowledge of software product management, UX & UI, cross-functional requirement gathering and prioritisation
Able to intake complex requirements from stakeholders, make data-driven decisions, and communicate the appropriate next step
With agile mindset which allows you to maintain a cohesive product vision while optimising the smallest details
With entrepreneurial instincts and able to pick up work in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to learn
Interested in energy transition, electric vehicles, home automation, renewable energies and software is a plus
Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English
