Description & Requirements

In 2019, CLP launched Smart Energy Connect (SEC) clpsec.com. This platform offers businesses and organisations access to a diverse selection of smart energy management applications developed by CLP and its product partners, including energy analytics and forecasting, performance monitoring of distributed energy systems, equipment fault diagnostics, etc. SEC represents a new business model for customers, system integrators, and service providers to deploy innovative technologies to make their sustainability goals a practical reality.

We are looking for high caliber to join the Digital Services team for coordinating a cross-functional team responsible for its design, development and deployment, with key responsibilities and requirements summarized as follows:

The Position Profile:

Drive delivery of digital products with agile mindset and work closely with the business product management team. Focus on WHEN and HOW of products to be developed
Be the champion in your own digital products and focus on creating digital products that is human-centric and develop extensive knowledge in shifts in market dynamics and competitive products and create product delivery roadmap
Working with tech team, implementation team and business product management team to define product requirement and agree on deployment and positioning of a given solution to meet propose value objectives
Responsible for spearheading investigation and analyses on the new and existing product product and their product technology fit to monitor and manage the performance of the portfolio of products
Be a hands-on individual contributor to come up with scopes of product development requirements of different solutions and cooperate with the teams to build or source solutions, define costing and budget, and determine partnerships agreements
Work closely with business product managers to support the growth of a given product to manage roadmaps, engage customers for feedback, continuously develop and increase adoption and measure value delivery based on initial vision

Requirements:

University degree or equivalent qualification in product design, computer science, management information systems, engineering, business administration or related field
Minimum 8 year’s relevant working experience in agile, scrum framework, product lifecycle management, and/or business analysis
At least 5 years of work-experience in product management or equivalent
Hands on experience working with tech team, scrum master, IOT engineers and sales teams to launch new solutions and technology team for product delivery
Ideal candidate would have start-ups co-founding experience or new department/office building experience
Decision making skills where there is limited information or uncertainties due to the inherent nature of Innovation
Effective influencing skills to negotiate key partnerships internally within CLP and external with key customers, partners, and vendors
Strong verbal and written communication skills in fluent/native English and fluent in Mandarin
Self-motivated with ability to work independently to perform in a dynamic, multi-cultural, matrix organization and influence outcomes
Experience in management and delivery of digital products for retail market, smart building and sustainability related software is a plus
Candidate with less experience will be considered as associate manager role
