We are looking for high caliber finance professional to join the finance team of our Generation Business Group of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited. The successful candidate will be required to work in the Power Stations located at Tuen Mun area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement an effective business control framework and reinforce control awareness in Generation Business Group and ensure adherence to the Company’s policies, practices and guidelines;
• Plan and coordinate the regular and ad hoc internal control activities, and ensure they are timely completed with quality in accordance with the Company’s timeline;
• Support the compilation of the annual budgets of the responsible department(s) / project(s) to ensure sufficient financial justification, and prepare the financial models and scenario analyses for internal management review and Board approval;
• Perform periodical monitoring and reporting on budget variances against the financial targets;
• Conduct cost analysis and drive for cost management initiatives to improve business performance;
• Provide professional advice and support to management and internal customers in relation to financial or control related matters;
• Identify and implement changes to procedures and systems for process simplification and automation to drive for continuous improvements; and
• Actively participate in cross-departmental task forces and ad-hoc assignments to meet business needs from time to time.

Requirements:

• A recognized university degree in Accounting or Finance, and a professional qualification of a recognized accounting association;
• At least 7 years’ relevant working experience;
• Proven interpersonal skills and capability to communicate effectively at all levels in both spoken and written English and Chinese; and proficiency in Putonghua;
• Strong analytical mind and problem solving abilities with good business acumen;
• Innovative, independent, self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility;
• Proficient in Office 365 Applications;
• Familiar with ERP systems and proficiency in process automation tools would be an advantage;
• Candidate possess lesser relevant working experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Manager – Financial Planning and Control.
