Description & Requirements
We are inviting dynamic, analytical and competent professional to join our Financial Reporting & Compliance Department of Financial Control (HK). The successful candidate will be responsible for the following main duties:
- Prepare financial accounting and reporting of a group of companies, including period end accounts closing and consolidation
- Prepare statutory accounts and reporting package to holding company
- Compile and submit tax filings in compliance with tax rules / regulations
- Perform variance analysis and co-ordinate the compilation of budget and periodic management reports
- Monitor the latest development in accounting standards and tax legislations, support study of accounting and tax issues, and participate in implementation of new accounting standards, tax rules / regulations and tax planning measures
- Involve in accounts payable function including the review of invoice and payment transactions
- Ensure effective management control procedures are in place and in compliance with Group policy
- Participate in system and process improvements initiatives and other ad-hoc assignments
Requirements:
- An accredited University Degree in Accounting or Finance and / or professional qualification of a recognised accountancy body
- At least 3 years’ relevant working experience
- Well-versed with Hong Kong accounting standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Hands-on experience in SAP would be an advantage
