CLP has embarked on a journey to becoming a “Utility of the Future” which is customer-centric, agile and digitally-enabled. The company is launching strategic transformation initiatives across the business in which next generation technologies will play a pivotal role.

We are looking for a passionate IT professional to join the IT Business Enablement within the Information Technology of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited. The successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the continuous improvement of business processes on Finance related IT platforms (both digital and legacy platform); ensure existing applications are maintained and enhanced in a timely and efficient manner to cater for changes in the business environment
Lead and deliver small to medium sized projects. Drive system design, participate and monitor development and project implementation activities, conduct quality assurance and prepare project documentation
Conduct post-implementation review of IT projects with stakeholders (e.g. users, IT business partners, IT solution architects) to validate that projected benefits are being realised and business requirements being fulfilled
Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. users, developers, UX, architects, QA) to ensure adequate understanding of business requirements, and follow up during and after the software development cycle to ensure applications developed are able to meet the business requirements
Play an active role in helping CLP become the “Digital utility of the future” and actively support the upcoming ERP transformation
As a Finance domain expert to provide system support to enterprise-wide financial & treasury systems, ensuring smooth business operation including but limited to:

Financial Accounting
Management Accounting
Legal Consolidation
Business Planning & Budget
Treasury
Governance, Risk Management and Compliance

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines. Master’s degree in a related field is desirable.
Professional credentials in ITIL, PMP, COBIT, ScrumMaster, DevOps, or relevant disciplines preferred
Professional project management certifications such as PMP and PRINCE2 are highly regarded
Finance & accounting related qualifications are highly regarded
5-8 years of utilities industry or IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments Experience as programmer, business analyst or project manager is preferred
Proven experience in large-scale systems and cloud-based finance solution implementation
Hands-on experience on SAP Finance, familiar with FICO operation, e.g.: Fixed asset, project system, internal order, cost & profit centre, cost allocation, reposting, activity posting and allocation, etc.
Technical experience in SAP finance related configuration and programming are highly regarded
Experience in digital solution implementation like Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, etc
Experience in integrating digital solution with core finance system
Proven ability to be effective in a customer facing role, driving customer centric ways of working
