Description & Requirements

The appointee will be responsible for the following key functions of the Finance & Business Support Department, Power Systems Business Group:

Plan and coordinate the preparation of Business Plan
Assist in formulation, communication and monitoring of business goals, strategies, priority deliverables as well as setting operational and financial targets for PSBG
Produce management and financial information with both qualitative and quantitative assessments for management’s decision making
Implement internal controls on financial operations, reinforce line managers’ control awareness and ensure compliance with the Company’s policies, practices and guidelines
Provide professional advice and support to management and internal customers in relation to financial or control related matters
Assist to promote various management initiatives in PSBG to improve business/cost performance and operational efficiency
Participate in other ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements:

A recognised university degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline
Possession of professional qualification of a recognised accountancy body is preferred
A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience
Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills with good business acumen
Proven interpersonal skills and capability to communicate effectively at all levels in both spoken and written English and Chinese
Creative, independent, self-motivated and a strong sense of responsibility
Mindful and possess good safety awareness
